Bitter:Sweet’s “Dirty Laundry” is what happens when big-band swing meets modern production techniques. At it’s core, Dirty Laundry is a cover of an older French song with just a dash of risqué but that becomes amped up as the mischievous vocal has effects applied to it and pitchy synths and vinyl scratches dance around the periphery of the song. The result is a fun piece of music that can be enjoyed in a variety of environments. I haven’t had the chance yet, but I look forward to checking out more of Bitter:Sweet’s work. You might consider doing the same.
